Atmospheric conditions are expected to be favorable for producing high levels of ozone pollution in the Tyler-Longview area on Thursday. You can help prevent ozone pollution by sharing a ride, walking or riding a bicycle, taking your lunch to work, avoiding drive- through lanes, conserving energy, and keeping your vehicle properly tuned. If required...the next Ozone Action Day notice will be issued by 300 pm on Thursday. Big Cypress Bayou At Caddo Lake affecting Marion, Harrison, Caddo and Cass Counties. For the Big Cypress Bayou...including Caddo Lake...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Big Cypress Bayou at Caddo Lake. * WHEN...Until early Sunday afternoon. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - There is no current observed data. - Bankfull stage is 169.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Saturday morning and continue falling to 171.4 feet Monday morning. - Flood stage is 172.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 172.6 feet on 01/04/1941. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Do not drive cars through flooded areas.
