Special Weather Statement issued June 2 at 3:39PM CDT by NWS Tulsa OK At 337 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a band of showers and thunderstorms with strong winds along a line extending from 6 miles west of Quay to 4 miles southwest of Slick to 3 miles south of Weleetka. Movement was northeast at 40 mph. Wind gusts will occur well behind the showers. HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations in or near the path include... Okmulgee... Bristow... Okemah... Pawnee... Okfuskee... Henryetta...
